This system allows for greater narrative importance without having major imbalances between player and weaver. The communal feel helps work around hard rules in favor of letting a story be told.
In our game we put the clash system to the test with a purposefully large combat with many subgroups of enemies and special boss enemies and the system was still able to handle the order of combat well.
Once the clash rack was set and everyone allocated dice and cards we were able to resolve each instance one by one without overlapping order or frustration.
I would recommend giving this system a try especially if you have outgrown other standard systems and are looking for a change of pace.
